Best Luxury Beauty Buys

Luxury beauty is my kryptonite, but I do believe there are areas to splurge and places to save. It can be a bit of a minefield when it comes to luxury beauty. What's worth the hefty price tag? Can spending your pennies get you a better product or just packaging? So I have gathered my favourite luxury beauty picks that I just can't live without and that I truly believe are worth their weight in gold to share with you today.

Tom Ford Eyeshadow Quads- To me these little palettes are the epitome of luxury beauty. Their packaging is stunning and most importantly the product is to die for. You get four buttery shades and depending on which shade you go for you might have their amazing glitters in there. Golden Mink is my favourite shade and the golden glitter shade is the prettiest thing on earth.

Tatcha Dewy Skin Mist- When you have dry skin like me makeup can get rather crumbly looking on the face. This spray is a saviour for when my skin looks just a little too matte and dry after makeup. It settles down any powders and leaves the skin with a healthy looking glow. Just think JLo in a bottle.

Chanel Les Beige Foundation- Chanel hold some of my favourite foundations and the Les Beige is one of the best all-rounders in my opinion. It has a natural finish with a light to medium coverage which will be perfect for most on a day to day basis. The packaging is weighty and looks lovely on your vanity.

YSL Lipsticks- Lipstick from YSL are my holy grail! I seem to be forever collecting shades and I am not even mad about it. The Rouge Volupte line is my favourite but the whole collection of lipsticks in different finishes are delightful.

Kevyn Aucoin Sculpting Powder- This contour is the original and rightly so in my opinion. Not too orange, not too ashy and perfectly blendable. Coming in a few different shades also makes it perfect for pretty much every skin tone.

Charlotte Tilbury Bronze & Glow- This palette is just so aesthetically pleasing. The packaging alone is worth the pennies in my book, nevermind the buttery bronzer and knockout highlight. For me, I prefer the bronze shade as an actual bronzer but it can work to sculpt the cheeks a little, while the golden highlight is to die for.

Hourglass Ambient Lighting Powders- AKA THE BEST POWDER ON EARTH. I will use nothing else, I kid you not. This powder is so finely milled that it sets your makeup like nothing else. It's light reflecting particles also give you that glowing smooth finish without looking too shiny or oily.

Tom Ford Waterproof Extreme Mascara- This stuff is luxe, in fact, I almost cry when I spend this much on a mascara but then when I wear it I remember why it's so worth it. Literally, everytime I wear it everyone asks if I am wearing falsies... YASSSS. I tend to leave it for special occasions but if you find your mascara becomes a smudging mess then give this a go; it is totally budge-proof.

Shu Uemura Eyelash Curlers- These curlers are seriously high rated in the beauty community and rightly so. They add amazing lift, curl, and definition to the lashes. They fit my eye shape perfectly and I have had them about ten months now and have yet to change the pads as they are still pretty perfect.

Marc Jacobs Gloss- I am generally not a huge gloss fan, I mean who wants sticky gross lips? These glosses are a total game changer though. They have a light texture that never feels tacky, just comfortable and hydrating. The shade selection is rather impressive; Pink Flamingo is my fave.

Charlotte Tilbury Eyes to Mesmerise- This cream shadow is more like a mousse in texture that blends on the eyes beautifully. One colour all over the lid is my perfect look. I know some people are not a fan of these as they find they can crease but personally I fine them a quick and easy product that hangs around on the lid all day.
